The Thinking Pink Breast Cancer Fundraising and Cultural Evening Gala

The Thinking Pink Breast Cancer Foundation organised a fundraising event on the 16th of June 2012. The foundation has a mission of  raising awareness nationwide of the dangers of  breast cancer and cancer in general. Sierra Leone at the moment has no cancer unit or facility and the awareness level about the disease is very low. Therefore, the foundation will be embarking on a nationwide tour to sensitise and carry out breast exams to the villages and districts in Sierra Leone. The Fundraising event was not only organised to raise funds but to also get the attention of international stakeholders. It was a success and i gladly share some of the pictures with you all.
